I have seen the tutorial that you linked and is not very dificult. It is in spanish. Do you speak spanish? Is you don´t I will translate to english for you. The workflow who that boy use is not very dificult, but I think that he must clean the lips before begining to add efects or glossy look. Thats the way to get a nicer final look of your lips.
