I have been working with a pic making a compositing. I normally work to get better thecnique in beauty retouch, but compositing relax to me.

What is your opinion about this stone girl? I begin with the pic that I post (sorry, I can show the face, is a model, but you can imagine: lips, eyes, eyebrush, nose, nothing special). I began to clear the image and add the texture, and after this, look for pictures of snakes a grunge to complete the compositing.

I will try (maybe today) to upload in a high-res size de greyscale model, before applying texture. If somebody want try/work on it.......

Sorry for my English, I am from Spain.

Critiques are wellcoming. Thanks a lot....Javier

The little jpeg format doesnŽt help the final view of the picture. Sorry. If I can upload it in high-res, IŽll do it.

Much better view at higher res..
All the elements are put together rather well. Nice match overall.

Just some minor things that I noticed in your image:
Going from a white background to a black background left the head cut out look pasted on the background in a few areas because of the white outline.. It just does not look natural and looks like a cut&paste .. see how the black on the shoulder crest on the right looks more natural and rounded... then the snake body and the persons neck and ear have sharp edges and look pasted.. not rounded..

So, with just a little clean up I think you will have an excellent picture!

Hi Javier

on the left side of her face theres a crack. because its straight it looks wrong.. it would curve around with the jawline. Its never enough to just overlay or multiply :) you always need to warp, transform and so on, the material to the thing you are applying it to.

Hi Orisinal:

You are right. I have spent some time looking at the picture and I agree with you that multiply is not enough. I am working in a new picture and working with the texture (newspaper), and painting shadows to add volume and
doesnŽt look flat.

Thanks for your critique. It helps me.
