Hi guys, just found a thread in a german forum which allows to enable plugins to be used as smart filters:

file/scripts/browse
Abobe CS3/Scripting Guide/Sample Scripts/Java Scripts/EnableAllPluginsForSmartFilters

Re-running same script will disable/reset function
