I'd like to thank google, the academy, and all of the little people for helping me to find this site. I've only looked around for a bit, but when I have more time, I'm sure I'll be getting a lot of tips and ideas. In my little town in Ohio, I was asked to restore all of the graduating class pics from our now-closed school. Everyone seemed to like them quite a bit. So much so, that I hang them up in my small-town grocery store (yes, I own it, and I do this photo stuff for relaxation. The result is now I seem to be our town's expert at restoration ( I've fooled 'em all.....). My latest project is going to be a tin type restoration; which is how I came to find this place. So hey to all of you and I look forward to spending some time here........

Welcome Ron. You will find this community a pretty great place to hang out. There is a wealth of information, great associations with others who share the same hobbies/professions, and lots of good-natured banter.
