Go to THIS PAGE (http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/image-help/9077-size-quality-attached-images.html) to read how to upload a graphic. mdw46 03-27-2008, 05:38 PM Swampy, Thanks for the advice and here's the image that i would like the brightness removed from her face Swampy 03-27-2008, 06:26 PM Just have time for a quickie. But I duplicated the layer then ran Photoshop Shadow/Highlight Probably needs more cleanup, but some of the detail is back. mdw46 03-27-2008, 07:16 PM I used Shadow/Highlight and achieved and had the same results mike grannysdc 03-27-2008, 07:25 PM My attempt at adjusting the face: copied background (deselected it) cropped Multiplied a bunch then select all>copy merged.. Paste.. added a hide all mask.. copied background... painted face white on the hide all mask previously made.. merged visible layers copied.. made the copy multiply merged Painted face with flesh tones on color layer then painted flesh tones on normal layer and lowered opacity finished off with a coat of white paint at 2% flow on face because it was flat mdw46 03-28-2008, 06:03 AM Thanks Granny !! This is a great forum for advice in my learning how to use photoshop... Mike |
