As KR1156 said theres enough stuff on skin on this forum so I'd like to open a thread he suggested on hair as I think its probably one of the most difficult things to retouch and mask well.
Flyaways and cross hairs can be a real pain the way I normally deal with them is very careful cloning sometimes using darken mode or lighten mode on cross hairs. Sometimes I also patch in hair from other areas.
Masking hair can be a real problem as well. My aproach would normally be to make the mask in channels. Finding the best channel to use first then using apply image or calculations to improve the mask. Using contrast or levels to make things more solid and sometimes the D&B tools set to shadow or highlight to make things black or white.
What other good technique are you using to deal with hair?
It would be great to hear any other methods you have
