hey guys, I have photoshop cs3 with adobe camera raw and i really want to start experimenting with it but my camera isnt RAW compatable. is there anywhere that I can download a RAW file from someone else so that I could just play around with raw? thanks

I had a similar problem and went to google and found a few raw files with which I could experiment.

You can also load JPEGS/Tiffs into Camera Raw in CS3. Use the Photoshop OPEN dialog box, select a JPEG then look for the Fromat popup and from there choose to open with Camera Raw.

Yeah, or you can use Open As... and click "Camera Raw" from the drop down menu near the bottom. So you can use JPEGs as well, it's not only for RAW files. Also I believe in Bridge you can set JPEGs to open in ACR by default as well.

Or you can use the dng converter that comes with acr and make your jpegs dng files.
