Hello Forums,
Not sure if this is the correct place to post but here goes…

I am looking for some hires car / automotive images. 300dpi, RGB
Do any of the retouchers here know of any image libraries or web sites where these can be found. I'd like to practice my technique and using small images off the net is not very practical.
Here is an example of what I am looking to do more of. I've included the original and my first two attempts.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I guess you could try istock or one of the other micro stock sites.
You should find something like that there but obviously you cant expect them to be shot with a digital back or anything, but they might be ok for you to practice your technique.

I can probably render out some CG cars for you. I'll see how realistic I can push it this time. It'll be a good excuse to practice my 3D texturing/rendering skill again.

No...and I can' without the detail blueprint from the manufacturer. Model is from Dosch 3D: Cars 2006. I redid the texture and built some off-road tires for it.
Anyway, I spent last night tweaking and rendering with some success. I'll pick up where I left off after work.

Keen to see it. :)

Alright...these twos came straight from the render. Still look CG and some retouching is needed to make them more believable. Good practice if you're looking to retouch every part of the car.

Hey guys,
thanks for the resources.
I have started looking through stuff and will work on the files that have been posted here or sent via email.

Here is something I put together at lunch today.Porsche.jpg (http://www.morph-retouch.co.uk/test/Porsche.jpg)

The top one is mine and is based on a car that I hope to buy with the money from my first car commission. How much do you think the carbon fiber panels and details will cost?

the one thing i noticed is the carbon fiber texture doesn't appear to have the proper "wrap", it looks like a flat texture...
