Danny I have just joined Retouch Pro today and am wondering how to join your group?
I am ineterested in Lucis Art and have the 30 day free demo, but am on the edge of purchasing. Any thoughts or advice?
Thanks!

Hi Sunbeam...

Welcome aboard. No further action required. "You're in" and welcome to participate in any/all threads, challenges, etc. Retouch Pro-wide.

re: LucisArt
It's kind of a love it/hate it plugin. Most people use only two of the built-in effects, thus it becomes kind of a spendy plugin for what you get. It does render a very unique effect that many have attempted to duplicate w/o full success IMO. On the right image, the effect is stunning. I did not find it useful enough/often enough on the work I do, so I ended up selling my copy, but that's just me.

I'd definitely do the 30-day trial thing and experiment a lot. Only you can judge its value for the work you do.

Hope that .02 helps...

Danny, thanks for the info. I would probably use it quite a bit. I have been researching HDR too and just bought Photomatix Pro, so am cash poor!
Thanks again!
