I am ineterested in Lucis Art and have the 30 day free demo, but am on the edge of purchasing. Any thoughts or advice? Thanks! Sunbeams DannyRaphael 08-05-2008, 09:48 AM Hi Sunbeam... Welcome aboard. No further action required. "You're in" and welcome to participate in any/all threads, challenges, etc. Retouch Pro-wide. re: LucisArt It's kind of a love it/hate it plugin. Most people use only two of the built-in effects, thus it becomes kind of a spendy plugin for what you get. It does render a very unique effect that many have attempted to duplicate w/o full success IMO. On the right image, the effect is stunning. I did not find it useful enough/often enough on the work I do, so I ended up selling my copy, but that's just me. I'd definitely do the 30-day trial thing and experiment a lot. Only you can judge its value for the work you do. Hope that .02 helps... Sunbeams 08-05-2008, 01:00 PM Danny, thanks for the info. I would probably use it quite a bit. I have been researching HDR too and just bought Photomatix Pro, so am cash poor! Thanks again! Sunbeams |
