I know its hard to find african american women to add to your portfolios. Photographer Shinobi Muhammed has some great ones. Im about to retouch this one now. But i'll give you all the original to play with until i get done! Im going to need some hair tips. How can i make her hair look perfect? Its hard!

You've done a really nice job retouching this photo, i love her skin tones and the smoothing, very natural. I shall have a try at the photo myslef. I am a complete newbie with photo retouch, I shall see what I come out with.

cheers

Alex, this is amazing! Can you share a little bit more about your D&B technique? That would be amazing!

Thanks!

Ah, thats amazing, too!
It would be great if you guys, that retouched the photo also told us what you used when retouching. It would be really helpful to all...

This is my second retouch attempt, if you could spare a minute for critical evaluation I'd really appreciate it, I'm set on spending every moment spare of every day learning and will keep trying and hoping to get to a standard where a studio would be confident taking me on as a junior. I'm really not sure exactly how far to go with the retouch..I know this is a common thing for people starting out...I've prob done far too much to it and ruined it.. know the eyelashes are very fake..mmnnn would do that differently next time..
