Hey guys, im new to this forum, im not too sure how this place works so i apolagise if i have bad etiquette (Being a new member and already asking for help an all)

Ive done alittle bit of photo restoration myself, but only in mspaint, so im sure you can see its not exactly the best of the best, but its worked fine for me so far.
However my father approached me today asking for help to restore a picture for one of his friends. My fathers friend's friend (thats a mouthful) sadly passed away and ive been asked to try to retouch a old photograph and resize it slightly so it would fit into his locket. Im going to try my best using mspaint but i think for this sort of thing its best if i also try and get some help :)

So if anyone could please help me it would be great, and would be making a sweet old man very happy :) Below ive attached the picture and next to it the size he would like it resized to.

Im not even sure if it spossible, its a very small picture and it is very old, i know im going to have a hard time with this on mspaint but maybe it will be alittle easier with photoshop or any of them fancy programs i know nothing of :P

Many thanks in advance, again im sorry if this is of bad etiquette :)

Thats how big the picture is im afraid :) Only bigger i can make is if i baloon it up, which would only pixalate it. :/

It is currently 72dpi...if it was scanned at 300dpi then you would have a larger and easier copy to work on.
