View Full Version : Reverse the damage that was done to this picture?

Is there anyway to restore the original -or atleast a close- colors of this picture?

It looks for me that they've added an intense contrast to it and added some red which made it looked like this.

I tried playing with the curves and reduce the red in it but it turned out to be awful, so the question is: is there anyway in order to reverse all the process that was done to this picture?

I'd have to agree; from my limited experience, this image seems to have been rendered into an almost-duotone/monochrome.

you could try de-saturating it to a greyscale, then manually colorizing it to approximate the hues that may have existed at one time.
But the contrasted areas are going to be very difficult to cultivate into a semblance of "normality", if at all.

I agree with the others. A lot of data is blown away and the color is toast. You could get a sketch out of it or something else artistic.
