Hello All,

I'm Ernst from South Limburg, the accidented part of The Netherlands.

Came here after searching for a clue how to get rid of the horrible Moiré that occurred taking pictures of telivision.
During the Amstel Gold Race the Helicopter flew over our house and the Castle next to it.

The Link to it all (http://fotoboek.luiemotorfiets.net/fotos/Overig/De_Avia/foto/23555#foto)

I'm not a technical highstanding photographer, to me it's more the Moment of Life that's important :-)

Have some knowledge of taking pictures riding my bike, started that with the Cardbox disposables (low risk :-)) in 1985, an now do it after a long line of Canon's and one Panicsonic mistake with my newest acquiantance the Sublime Ixis 860/870IS.

ErnsTT, welcome to RetouchPRO :) Good luck and enjoy your time here. I hope you find an amiable solution to your problem!

You may want to look at this thread:
"any-hope-moire" (http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/image-help/15294-any-hope-moire.html#post135504)
which is based on this tutorial (http://retouchpro.com/tutorials/?m=show&id=147)

I took a different route,
added a 1/2" black border on each side
ran a FFT action (below)
channel mixer layer, mono checked, green100% set to luminosity
then used Imagenomic Noiseware at the default Full(weak noise) setting to remove some more noise
