I am from Montreal and looking to work as a retoucher from home, but I really don't know where to look. Any suggestions???

I am wondering as a skin/beauty retoucher, where to look cause I already contact many fashion photographers (if not all) here but they seems to have all their people already!

So any great idea?

One thing you might want to do is make your site english or at least bilingual,unless you want to work exclusively in Montreal

Are you working a lot in Montreal or do you work only outside of the country?

I work in Montreal but doing restorations not actual commercial retouching
there are some proffesional retouchers on here that could possibly give you advice

I am coming over to Canada to live next year, I have a few agencies there wanting to use me. I will also be setting up a retouching school there, as I have been asked by some agencies to help train up "new meat"! LOL!! They want real high quality retouchers.

Well Jeff You must be one of the very few Because I asked this Question about working retouchers in Canada and got only one maybe 2 ,so my assumption is 1)theres not much work,2)there are almost no retouchers in Canada

It helps if you have contacts in the large agencies here and in the USA. That way, I can get to the people I need to speak too. Then, once they saw my folio and set up here in London, they were fine.
