Recently I used a lot of art history brushes for my images. Well, I can sace my settings inside my CS3. But some people asked me to give them my settings. No problem, I answered. But there is indeed a problem to do this: In my settings folder, were all the other tpl`s are saved, no one of my settings does appear. There must be a trick to save them, because I once downloaded some settings from another site. They are correctly installed and show up. Please help!!!

Aren't brushes ABR files?

No - not Art History brushes. You'll have to look at tools and the ending of these files are .tpl.

From the flyout menu select save brushes and where you want to save them ( like desktop etc)

Thanks a lot, palms1, but at this step I was already - it saves all those settings you have in your folder. Even those that are not mine - I just wanted to save only my settings. It doesn't work too if I remove all files located in the tool folder - in a really mysterious way they swap back if I start CS3 again.

Once the AHB settings have been saved via the "New preset" dialog, engage the Preset Manager:
* Select (ctrl + click) the settings you wish to save
* Click the Save Sets... button.

IMPORTANT: You must do the save via the Save Sets... button in the Presets Manager dialog, not the Presets > Save Tool Presets dialog. Saving presets via Presets > Save Tool Presets saves ALL your presets, even if you select just one.

It's kind of a weird implementation, but what can I say.

Try this and see if it gets you over the hump.

I'm not sure if this is it, but try looking in c:\documents\your user id\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Adobe Photoshop CS3 Settings\
