Thought I'd share this with you as I'm trying to archive my family's photos for my sons. I thought the original was really cute, 30 years ago, hope you have fun with it!

She said, "Awww, that's a really cute baby!.. What a precious picture." Thanks for the play, here's my version: lkroll 05-02-2008, 12:35 AM Line engraved stamp print. :) lcramer53 05-02-2008, 06:21 AM OlBaldy, I'm so glad that the 'boss' gave her stamp of approval :) I really, really like what you did with it, as well as cropping to focus on the main subject! Lyle, well done! I always look forward to seeing your versions of anything! I've been away for quite a while and am not familiar with 'line stamping', have to have some play with it. ;) 0lBaldy 05-02-2008, 11:05 AM Thanks for your kind words Susie. It is easy to focus on something as cute as your picture! lkroll 05-26-2008, 04:40 PM Trying another sewing technique that works better with bigger photos (http://www.innographx.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=115749#115749), but I gave it a whirl here too. :) http://img365.imageshack.us/img365/1332/miktthdraw1bf4.th.jpg (http://img365.imageshack.us/img365/1332/miktthdraw1bf4.jpg) Steve Conway 05-27-2008, 07:36 AM His dentist would be proud. Steve C. lcramer53 05-27-2008, 10:04 AM Lyle, what kind of sewing technique are you using? You're right, it works better with a larger image (your link) that is so cool! Steve, nicely done, I especially like the detail of the brush work. I don't know about his dentist, but I'm awfully happy that none of those pearly whites got knocked out during his hockey-playing years ;) . Glad you liked it Susie. Can give you some hints: Newsprint filter and GREYCStorations with a lot of sharpening and selective sharpening steps. :) |
