Hi there! I want to ask you people, how much contrast do you put on your photos. I do a lot of fashion editorial work and at the mags they tell me that it wants a lot more contrast to print vivid. I put contrast and always keep in mind not to burn any highlights or shadows. How mush do you put when there is a human subject in the composition of course. What is the best way\ways
to add contrast?

There's no wrong way as long as the image looks good. I usually use curves to increase contrast in an image. Although to make the colors pop i go to LAB mode. And select the a and b channel then i go to lightness/contrast and move the contrast slider to get more color in the image. There's so many ways to enhance an image so it's hard to say what's best.
