Hi ,

I have another How To question again.
This time, it's on How to create a Graduate Color filter effect in Photoshop or similar software.

Example on a Graduate Tobacco filter (http://www.geocities.com/cokinfiltersystem/gradual_tobacco.htm)

Thank you in advance once again.

Best regards,

There are a million ways to approach this. Here's one:

Make a new layer, fill with color of your choice. Set blend mode to 'color'. Apply a layer mask, click on the layer mask icon to select it. Then use radial blur tool to select your image area with no coloration. Click the mouse in the center of that area, and draw it out before releasing. The further you draw it out, the more gradual the effect will be. You can re-draw it over and over until you get the look you want, each time will erase the last one. After you've got the one you want, see if turning down the opacity helps.
