Use the 'measure' tool to draw a line on any edge that should be horizontal or vertical. Then go to Image>Canvas>Rotate Arbitrary and the necessary setting will already be entered to straighten the image. Then you can crop as you wish.

I use that one religeously. Love it.

I just tried that and it is VERY cool!

AH!! I've gotten to have a pretty good eye for how much .5 degrees is vs. 1 degree (vs. 1.5 degrees) - but I much prefer using more precise methods. ;)
