If you're interested (and there is to be by no means any pressure here), there are many ways you can help grow this site:

Got a favorite relevant book? Write a review (http://www.retouchpro.com/reviews/index.php)

Have a techique down pat? Try your hand at a tutorial (http://www.retouchpro.com/tutorials/index.php)

Is your bookmarks list huge? Email the webmasters to see if they'd like to trade links (http://www.retouchpro.com/links/index.php)

Have some good scans of old photos? Email them in for our archive (http://www.retouchpro.com/pages/archives.html)

Your mind teaming with retouching trivia? Submit some tips (http://www.retouchpro.com/pages/tips.html)

Belong to other related communities? Invite them on over

This whole idea will only work if we get people, and content to reward them for coming. Then they contribute, and you get the return on your investment

Again, no commands, no pressure. This is just how volunteer sites like this one grow

If you've been a contributing member here for awhile, and you'd like to contribute some time and effort, we can always use volunteers.

Keep in mind before you raise your hand that this might not necessarily be easy. It might involve homework :)

It would definitely involve time (though no more than a couple of hours a week). More importantly, it would involve committment (ie: keeping with it over time).

Examples of tasks might be scouring the net for relevant events and keeping the calendar updated. Or finding and categorizing relevant links (once I get the software working). These are just examples, there's lots of other stuff to be done.

I'm also open to suggestions.

If you're interested, PM me or send me an email with what you'd like to do (don't just say "can I help?", I need details on what you'd like to do). I also don't have time for hand-holding, so be prepared to teach yourself whatever skills might be necessary (though I can provide the manuals).

I've sent several files for the archives today. Most everything is ready in the kitchen for the food feast tomorrow and I just wanted to check that those files already sent are appropriate and that you're ready for a few more???
Thanks
