And the people are nice, which makes it a double pleasure! Enjoy! :wavey: DannyRaphael 08-19-2002, 12:24 PM Hellooooooo, Mama Gator: Ditto what Blacknight said. Lots of cool stuff to learn and many, many wonderful, helpful folks with backgrounds that span rookie to guru. See bottom of my post for a link to a site map that may help you find some of the other nooks and crannies. Glad you found us. ~DannyR~ Mike Needham 08-19-2002, 01:15 PM Welcome aboard, glad you found us. They're all active, and new posts can be added. Ed mama alligator 08-24-2002, 01:02 AM Wow. You sure make a newcomer feel welcome. I'm so sorry I haven't checked back 'til now. Thank you all for the kind greetings... for the Site Maps!!(much appreciated) and for tipping me off to the Mini-Challenges. That's probably where I'll get my feet wet since that's the kind of thing I'm most familiar with. I use Photoshop 6.0 I do want to learn photo restoration very much but it's daunting, looking at some of the challenge results. But it looks like this is thee place to learn. I'm in awe, already! DJ Dubovsky 08-24-2002, 02:14 PM I think Photo restoration is really fun but you are right, some of them can be a daunting challenge. However, if you learn some of the techniques you can cut alot of your time cleaning up damage to half. I think it's fun because there's always a better way or quicker fix just around the corner so you're never bored. Look forward to seeing your Mini challenges. I think once you get your feet wet and see how wonderful everyone is and how helpful, you'll be diving in to try all kinds of challenges. :) DJ |
