Greetings all! It’s time for another round of (everyone all together now)…ART TAG!
It’s that time of year when everyone is putting up decorations and lighting up their yards in a festival of lights. So I thought for this art tag we would decorate a yard. The starting photo is pretty plain. There’s snow, but that’s it. Now I have been driving around and have seen some very “bright” and “festive” yards, and I though the Art Tag players could help this plain yard out.
SO, if you are interested in playing, just send me a PM! This round will start 20 Dec.

Hope to hear from you!

I can’t believe how much this image changed from the original. The image started as a plain house, and now has, icicles, lights, soldiers, a snowman, and a bright guiding star. My favorite touch has to be the two-tone lit tree. I wish someone would come over to my house and decorate my trees that way. Lovely job all!
Happy Holidays!

This was a really fun challenge! :) I love the results!
The two-tone tree was from a picture I took at the "Blossoms of Light" display at the Denver Botanical Gardens. The trunk and larger branches are tightly wrapped around with what seems like hundreds of strings of green lights. Then each branch is followed out from the trunk with strings of red and strings of blue lights. I don't even want to think about how long it takes to decorate trees this way! But there are dozens of them like this in the Gardens - with various combinations of colors. I'm sure glad someone else has the patience to decorate the trees this way so I get to see them! :D
