I know this still needs some work but I'm starting to get the hang of this. I think Photoshop 7's brush engine is capable of doing some really cool stuff and before I invest more money in canned filters and such, I'm going to play around with this some more...

I'm sure glad you're exploring the brush dynamic settings. I have found out that it is most effective with history brush tool/art history brush.

Thanks. It looks so simple in print! :-) Simply wonderful results you got. Supposedly, with PS7, there's no need for the art history brush. That's because the pattern brush can clone from a full picture and you can turn on impressionism as one of the options. Additionally, the new brushes are much more sophisticated. I used a dual brush for this one which combined a water color brush with a canvas texture that I created...
