Continuing in my.... "abstract" phase!
Knitted together in Painter 6 starting with simple shapes then
massaging them with the distorto brush and then a mixture of
furry and hairspray in the FX brushes.
Finally a couple of long distorto strokes :-)

Cool! normally I'm not a big fan of abstract work, but this is really nice work.

I'm with you David. I'm normally not a big fan of abstract either. But, Gary, you just might change my mind! Very nice work! :D

Jeanie, David and Platscha,
Thanks for the great comments.
Somehow I really enjoy doing these.

By all means, keep doing them :)

I think they look very good as well.

It would be interesting to know what exactly you had in mind while you were working on your abstract.

I believe I was thinking about my sister and my parents, they've
just bought a villa in the mountains in southern Spain and are
moving there in two weeks. My parents are retiring there and
my sister is going to carry on web designing from there.
They have asked me to move in as well and it's all I can
think about.
So I guess it displays my feelings of "bursting out" away
from the "dreary and grey" UK weather and possibly into a
new and exciting direction abroad.
At least I'm looking forward to holiday there!

Oh WOW, that's awesome!!! Have you considered selling your art? It's beautiful. This one is even better than the other one and I really liked that one. It really belongs in a gallery and I'm not just saying that. :)

Wow!
thanks DJ, yes I am thinking along those lines.

With help from my sis who also does web design, may be I can
convert a dream to reality this year.
But not just for myself ......I'd love to be able to output art
for everyone.
Currently looking at several printers one in particular, the
Epson 9600 is very interesting, but sooooo expensive!

Will keep you up to speed on this as it looks like I'll be moving
soon to southern Spain to be with my family.
