Jean TwinANJ 05-24-2003, 02:08 PM Used various layers and filters to give a soft look. Jean TwinbNJ 05-24-2003, 02:22 PM very nice pic Jean --- I like the soft look you got --- WOW you are getting the sketch down very nicely! Still working on Veritys' images, will give this a shot when I am done. TwinANJ 05-24-2003, 03:15 PM Fishboy... I love the colors on the first on Vibrant! Very Cool  The second one gives a scary effect. Not a foot path to go on alone. Very creative. Jean BillC 05-24-2003, 03:44 PM Jean - nice picture, and I like your soft 'brushed' look on your rendition. FishBoy - I also like the vibrant colors - I pushed the colors on my version as well. Cropped increased saturation blured Bill C TwinbNJ 05-24-2003, 04:25 PM Wow fishboy and Bill very strong submissions! Wonderful! I went with a soft look. TwinANJ 05-24-2003, 04:36 PM Bill...I agree with Fishboy wonderful! Jill... Very nice. I like the contrast from the boarder. Jean tyeise 05-24-2003, 06:36 PM I liked the fence. :) Tyeise DannyRaphael 05-24-2003, 11:13 PM I read an article about using the Art History Brush today and was inspired to try it out on this image. For those interested, the tutorial can be seen HERE (http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5963). Thanks, Jean, for a great picture to work with. ~Danny~ spinnnz 05-25-2003, 01:42 AM Jean, what a wonderful image to work with.. Here's my attempt. Lisa TwinANJ 05-25-2003, 06:20 AM Tyeise.... I like the focus on the fence. It pops. The cars in the background on the original took away some of the feeling in the picture and removing that part of the picture gives a soothing, calm out of time feeling. Great! Danny.... I really like your rendition and could not wait to "Click Here". Problem when I clicked I went to "Post a new thread". Spinnnz Lovely! You and Tyeise both make the setting look dreamy. Jean DannyRaphael 05-25-2003, 09:05 AM Jean: Thanks for the sanity check. You're right as rain... my oops. Fixed now. ~Danny~ GOLDCOIN 05-25-2003, 11:53 AM Thanks Jean, for such a great pix to work with.......... Danny, can't wait to try out your newest technique.....Great effect with this pix! Remember the ole View Masters...... Am trying for that 3D effect. Using both Painters & Photshop, the frame made in Platt's. Like it's canvas texture feature alot, and quick easy frames. TwinANJ 05-25-2003, 04:54 PM Goldcoin...Beautiful! The texture, Lighting and colors. Jean Blacknight 05-25-2003, 05:43 PM Enlarged original until what I wanted to see of it filled my screen, then took a screenshot. Sketchy action on a layer set to color burn, flatten. Median set to 1. Smart blur 3/25/low. Hue/sat to brighten. CJ Swartz 05-25-2003, 08:23 PM Color Selections and adjustments. Added a couple of "elements". TwinANJ 05-25-2003, 08:28 PM BK...Lovely CJ.....Wonderful!!! You made it look like a nice romantic place to have a picnic. Jean |
