For those that are not aware on this site, we received a letter on another site that a mutual member has passed away. :(
Hello to everyone,
It is with deepest regret and sorrow that I must tell you that Mary Newton, aka Lady Oz, aka Opal and creator of Newtonia collapsed and died at approx 5pm, Saturday 26th July 2003. This was sudden & totally unexpected.
I will be trying to keep all her work on the net as a standing memorial to her. Any help in acheiving this will be gratefuly accepted. Mary thought the world of her many internet friends and I'm sure she will be as sadly missed by you all as she is by us here.
I thank you all for your friendship on her behalf

We all will miss Opal. She was a wonderful person and a bright spot on any site she visited. :bawling:
