Hi Folks,

It's time we all roll up our sleeves to give blood. We *have* to come together at a time such as this. Thanks.

Excellent suggestion Ed. For all of us who have been sitting by helplessly while this disaster is going on, this is an excellent way to give our support for the events unfolding.

Same here in Phoenix - the lines at the local blood banks go down the street and around the corner. The circuits were busy when I tried calling, and the news says that they are taking appointments for donors to give blood - that is America, we bleed, but we bleed to help others.

I don't like to keep bothering you with this, but it's important, and I think there might be some lurkers, and maybe even members from my area. This morning, I called the American Red Cross again. They are expanding the blood drive locations, and they are setting up appointments to donate blood. We all need to give, even though it seems like everyone in the country is doing it. The more we stick together, the stronger we appear to both our allies, and our enemies. Do it for the next generations who will run the country.

Hi all. Just got back from giving blood. Already there was a line. I was told they still needed blood so please take a few minutes and help out. Besides the orange juice is nice and cold.
