Sharon DannyRaphael 09-25-2003, 08:13 AM Hi Sharon: Two that I know of (but have never used): * Plugin Manager * Plugin Commander Do a search on these using (say) Google.com and you'll get gobs of more info on each. Cheers... ~DannyR~ DannyRaphael 09-25-2003, 02:20 PM Don: No, I don't use a plug-in manager. Why one might need one...There are zillions of homegrown plugins available off the net. Some people download/collect them like I do actions :-). There are practical and in some cases operating system limits on how many items can be displayed in a menu. As I understand it a PIM may be able to bring "order to chaos" (menu-wise) for lots of plugin environments, partly by creating submenus and organizing plugins accordingly. ~Danny~ |
