Why not a little Mick and Keith to stir things up a bit. Think they've aged a bit since then? :)

Was inspired by the LeRoy Nieman challenge, so gave Mick & Keith the Nieman treatment. * Wavy-Color to taste * Edge-Preserving Smooth * Select faces/Invert selection * Microsoft Impressionist Paint-DryBrush-Junk Pile (slightly tweaked) * Invert Selection * Microsoft Impressionist, reduce brush size to 25% -Jeff DannyRaphael 10-15-2003, 07:40 AM I thought I'd try out the new simulated oil painting action on this one. Download it here: http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=61158#post61158 Ran the action twice, reversing the direction of the angled strokes on the 2nd pass. Flattened and copied that image (less the texture layer), copied into the 1st version (under the Restore Detail layer) and applied some strokes (going the other direction) via layer mask. Restored some face, head and guitar detail via the Restore Detail layer. jch71566 10-15-2003, 09:26 AM Beautiful, Danny! Those photoshop actions are a real treat. gina 10-16-2003, 08:40 AM Hey Danny, this oil-action certainly ROCKS!! jch71566 : the impressionist plug-in is certainly up to this too! gina gina 10-16-2003, 08:55 AM Oh all right a quick one then 1 : saturation median usm-median-usm 2 : dupe ;glowing edges set to luminosity merge visible sat render lighting omnidirectional blue channel paint engine custom setting gina jch71566 10-16-2003, 11:16 AM Gina, that has a cool embossed look to it.
