I'm not usually a fan of the Conan O'Brien show, but this is pretty darn funny:

I wonder if we have enough creative folk to do something similar? Find your own celebrity gene donors and post an attachment that has both befores as thumbnails and your after version.

Possible sources of images are here (http://www.google.com/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=) and here (http://www.altavista.com/image/default).

Don't post anything offensive or that will get me sued :)

here's mine - I'm disappointed to say the least. I hope neither of us gets sued over this one

Here's a quick one that turned out kinda creepy

A Halloween themed one. Luckily this is for fun, not for a client :)

Sweetie, I've been weird all along :)

And they're junk, but I had fun (which is the point of this thread).

Did this about 2 years ago or more, and spruced up the composition a little bit today. Apologies for the JPEG artifacts, but these images GOTTA be about 6th generation.

The most difficult thing I've found in doing these is finding head shots where the subjects are similarly positioned. My interest has been re-sparked; think I'll go hunt down some more celebs to perform genetic experiments upon.

Well, DANG! My attachment didn't take!

Phos:

The attachments have to be under 100k.

As for subject matter, try the Google and Altavista links up above (use the advanced options on both, and Altavista seems to have a better selection).

"Photoshop Genetics"...I kinda like that :)

PSDNA or PNA perhaps?

My attachment was 31k.

I thought perhaps it didn't grab the image because the folder I had it in on my hard drive had some special characters (The image was originally titled "PamAndLyle.jpg"). I moved the image to my desktop, and it still wouldn't grab it.

Let me try again....

EDIT:
Hmmm....does your system have a problem with upper-case characters in file name attachments? After I renamed the file with all lower-case letters, it worked

Hey, I think I know that guy! :)

As for uppercase, it shouldn't cause a problem. The only problem I'm aware of are some punctuation and non-alpha characters. But feel free to experiment over in the Testing123 forum.

Another problem that occurs with attachments is previewing before submitting. Apparently if you preview your post first, the attachment disappears. :(
