Big kitty! catia 12-22-2003, 03:49 PM As soon as I saw this, I thought, oh wow, night creature. :D Catia Photoshop done in PSP8 by running the Night Vision script. SMETZ99 12-22-2003, 04:24 PM I just saw this when I looked at it, must be the pretzels. catia 12-22-2003, 04:27 PM Hey, that's cute. Rudolf the red nosed cat. :D Catia Xaran 12-22-2003, 11:23 PM Photo-Brush Pen and Colour. Overlaid with b/w line art copy in Photoshop, with a vertical gradient layer mask Coloured eyes. Christine Cheryl H 12-23-2003, 12:51 AM Smetz--that is too cute. Great idea! :D Christine--great eyes. Good job fixing the pupils. C--the green makes it look like a cranky kitty. I don't think I'd be telling that one to get out of my chair. I started with something I picked up at dpreview. duplicate the background and smudge paint. duplicate the smudge painted layer and run Buzz sketch 1 with remove set to around 100 set the blending mode to color burn then merged all to a new layer. duplicated this layer and ran Lucis sculpture. Reduced opacity to 65% and set the blending mode to pin light. Xaran 12-23-2003, 01:52 AM That's really effective Cheryl. Christine Cheryl H 12-23-2003, 08:54 AM Thanks Christine. I've only tried the smudge/buzz a few times, but I do like the look it gives. catia 12-23-2003, 02:40 PM Christine, I like that version. The eyes are neat. :) Thanks for the comment Cheryl. That is a great smudge version. I like the direction you used in the strokes, especially the nose moving to the eyes in the same direction as the slant of the eyes. :) Catia DannyRaphael 12-29-2003, 02:51 AM CH: The SmudgeBuzz look is very unique. Very "painted" looking. Another to add to your "winners" list. - - - - - - - Two more DreamSuite effects (Mosaic and Crease). Decided to mask the whiskers, eyes and nose. Can you tell I'm having fun with these plugins? ~Danny~ Cheryl H 12-29-2003, 10:42 AM Thanks Danny--I got that from dpreview where someone had used it on a floral shot (it's great on flowers). Did you get new filters for xmas? The mosaic gave a nice finish on the cat's fur. I got DS1 and DS2 almost two years ago. Just getting around to playing around with them. Danny) Peter S 02-18-2007, 05:05 PM Lucis, diffuse aniso, Flaming pear zephyr. Love the way the eyes came out with this very quick one. Peter Steve Conway 02-19-2007, 09:32 AM Like most cats, great photo subjects....but I like the bored look this one assumed. Steve C. palms1 02-19-2007, 12:44 PM I think this photo is brilliant, i have seen that facial expression so many times, we call it the "dont even think of it face " :cat: In fact when i showed my hubby the photo he thought it was our cat ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Palms Photoshop I have included a b&w version mainly because i think it has changed from being a domestic cat to a wild cat look Swampy 02-19-2007, 01:24 PM Cheryl... Excellent smudge! Palms, great stuff. I'm allergic to cats, but appreciate their renown mistique. They DO have an attitude. Used the liquify tool to reshape the eyes and push the fur around. Added some Craquelure. History brush with some hue and spatter jitters. Went back in and lightly definde some of the facial structure lines. palms1 02-20-2007, 12:42 PM Now that is cool Swampy, move away from your screen and you get a better view. Palms Swampy 02-20-2007, 04:32 PM Heehheee, Palms. My cat rendering scares me. LOL barbara 02-25-2007, 08:53 PM here my version ( with a bit of abstract ?) No joke I can see the impression of rabbits , honest, now don't you come near me with that funny coat that fastens at the back :dizzy: :dizzy: :dizzy: Peter lkroll 02-26-2007, 06:04 PM I think I see butterflies too Peter; now I know I have to see the Psych Dr. LOL Thanks all for the comments. :) Peter S 02-26-2007, 06:17 PM At least I'm not alone thank you. Palms CJ Swartz 02-28-2007, 06:58 PM You guys have been busy on this one! Swampy -- you took him from scary cat to sinister beast! Peter -- now that you've had your eyes fixed -- do you still see rabbits (think carefully before answering...) It's okay, I see them too... (what's the name of your doctor?) Found one of the old Kaleidoscope actions ...then after I ran it, I let him look at it. |
