I have found that the "search" function in XP actually works very well if you use the "advanced" method of searching " [rightclick....propeties...summary.>simple ".]
I add Keywords and often information in the description field. However, sometimes , especially if I add anything to the "author" or "subject" fields; the photos will not open in PS7...........I get a "disk error" message. But, I can open the file in Photoshop elements or even in PhotoStudio............if I make a change and resave, then I can open the file in PS7 again.............? I am wondering if anyone else has had this perplexing problem. What am I doing wrong? or is this a bug in PS7? This does not happen all the time and I have always been able to work around it but what a pain!
