A friend has offered me his little-used Canoscan FS2710 transparency/neg scanner. Does anyone have any knowledge of these scanners, and, if so, what would be the maximum size (top quality) print i could hope to achieve with it from a perfect Kodachrome transparency? Any other advice/thoughts about the scanner would be appreciated. TIA

Max res according to spec is 2720 ppi x 2720 ppi. That should yield reasonablely good 8 by 10 prints.
