It seems to me that the most frequented areas on the site would be the current challenge, and the feedback for that particular challenge. I would like to see a link on the main web page to access these two areas directly instead of having to click on three or four access links. The rest could be left as is. How do the rest of you feel about it?

Good idea Ed! I was thinking the same thing the other day when going to see how the current challenge was doing. : )

I agree too. Usually I go to the forum and then I want to hop to a challenge to see what they are talking about but it's not just a one click hop. A link to each persons challenge submition would really make that easy to see what they did while reading the comments. Mostly I jump back and forth and forget whos challenge I was reading to begin with. Good idea Ed.

Hmmm....let me think about this.
There are several ways this could work, only one of them best :)

How about if I promise to do something, and in return y'all volunteer a couple of posts in the various challenge forums to point back to that person's submission? If everyone took a couple, they'd all be done in no time.

Make it pretty, like this (http://www.retouchpro.com/challenge/restoration/challenge8/index.html) (only pointing to a person's entry, not just the main page)

Well, you shouldn't be forced to do this by yourself! Just point me in the right direction, and I'll give it my best shot. But I gotta learn how to do it.

No direction, just pick one and do it. :)

As for making the link pretty, just use the little 'http://' button when you post. Experiment in the testing area if you're unsure.

OK Doug,

You start and we will all follow suit. We could all do our own links to our own submissions and then any left over we just pitch in and each do one or two? Sound like a plan? :D

That sounds like an excellent plan.

Creativity and personalization is encouraged, but for a simple version of what I had in mind, see here (http://216.118.77.206/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=340&t=9710#post340)

OK I did a few. No creativity since it's 1 am and there is no longer any brain activity. The links did work so I must be functioning on cruise control. I will have to experiment next time.

They look great.

I'm going to have to do some thinking about smoother ways to navigate.

At least from this point forward it will be easier to discuss and view each new one. I'll put a link to the forum thread for each one, and a link back to the page from the forum.

Handling all those previous ones might be problematic.

How's this (http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=315)? Any better, link-wise?
