Very cool ! I found most of the items, but then I got stuck. Then I found the solution page -- if you just keep looking around the room, you will find all you need. Then you have to figure out what might fit into what...?

Have you found all the items? Have you tried to use some of the items to fit into other items? (keys->locks; round things into round holes? )

Tell me how far you've gotten so far, and maybe I can give a hint to let you be the first here to actually solve it ... without using a cheat sheet, like I did. ;)

Lynn, which room are you in -- the Crimson or the Viridian?

What have you found already? If you're in the Viridian - have you found all the white cards with the Oriental writing, a lighter, a key, photos, a picture frame, a CD, some hair, a cable lock, a green paper in the shape of a cross, etc? :question: :dizzy:

I'm in the Crimson room...still! I've found a battery, an empty CD case, a piece of paper with an url (which doesn't take me anywhere!), 2 or 3 keys, a metal rod, the box, and the cord to the CD player. The ring fits the cut out in the box, as does the rod. The keys opened the drawers.

There's another room? Oh lordy..maybe after some sleep!

After seeing that the rings and the rod fit the cutouts in the box, have you tried clicking the box? If you get the box open, you may see some other things that fit... I can give you an website with the "cheat", but why not play with it a bit longer? :devil: :vampire:

Okay, I am stuck. I am in the crimson room. I have found 3 keys, a cassette tape, power cord, a ring that fits into the box I found, a piece of paper with a URL and an empty cd case. What am I doing wrong. I have tried putting everything into everything and clicking on every spot, but I think they might have gone to lunch and forgotten about us still in the room.

This isn't a very good game of hide and seek when they all get up and leave...LOL!!

Lynn and Judi -- you need TWO rings. One doesn't show up unless you open and close the curtains a few times -- like it falls out from the motion.

Lynn, you need THREE keys - the last one helps you open something that gives you a tool that will get you out of the room -- but that something cannot be seen until you make the box give you a hint.

Judi, you need to find a metal rod also. After that, if you have the three keys, you can make the box give you a hint that will lead to you the final problem.

When you find something that fits with another item, click on the item you have found and click on the thing it fits with. Be sure to use "about items" to look at things -- some things only work when you click on "about items" -- look at one thing and then click on another thing that might belong with another item.

Leah's link doesn't work anymore, but if you get a bit farther along and then need some help, I know another link... :devil:

Ohhh, another thing -- they keep CHANGING the code so that you have to follow the url on the sheet of paper in the version you are playing to get the final code to unlock the SAFE. I just played it again, and couldn't get out until I quit and re-entered -- I think they had just changed the code while I was in the room, and their new code didn't work... and the old code didn't work.... and I was L-O-C-K-E-D --- I-N and couldn't get oooouttt !!!

Ooook...I have all the tools now, and have the last key. I've opened the box, seen the hint, and the url on the paper still won't work, and I have yet to discover any use for the empty CD case....Pretty please.... Help!

PJB......The metal rod is between the mattress and the wall.

Have you played the "movie"? Have you seen the " + "? Have you found a wall safe?

Don't give in to peeking at the walkthrough -- have the fun of taking a couple of hints, driving yourself nuts clicking for answers, and perhaps even getting out ALL by YOURSELF!! :cool:

Photoshop -- you're right - there is no use for the CD case. Don't know if the game requires you to find it or not, but it doesn't fit anything, and it doesn't help you get out. But wasn't it fun clicking and clicking and clicking to find that out? :lmao:

Thanks for all the clues! I did see the movie, but found no wall safe. (yet) The url doesn't work for me.
We're off to race (go-karts)...I'll give it a try again later.
