anyone have a good "action" programmed into photoshop they can share with me that will give a good fake sepia tone when outputting to an Epson 9600.......it drives us crazy

Hi Juliana,

You've, probably, already tried it ..... if not, in its 'Default Actions' Photoshop has a 'Sepia Toning (layer)' action ....

I normally desaturate the image, or channel mixer with monochrome checked to make it first black and white. Then I add 40R -7G -40B under color balance, and I can get a nice brown town. Play with the color settings for a more "truer" sepia tone.
