A friends of mine asked me if i could restore a photo for him so I took the challenge. I've done pretty good with other photos using the clone stamp. adjusting colors etc but I was wondering it anyone had any suggestions for this photo. mostly on the house where the blue stain is. what's the best way to remove the stain? masked layer or something? thanks for any suggestions. this is a low quality scan of the pics. I have another higer quality scan.

Welcome to RP!

What I did to remove the cyan stain from the house in your picture is the following:

Selected the house.
Activated the Blue Channel. (the one with most details and where the stain was less evident)
Copied and pasted the selection on Green and Red Channels. (now the house was gray..)
Used the Levels on Red and Green Channels to restore the colour of the house.
Used the Patch Tool on the 'flat' area of the house just above the roof.
