PE2rein 04-28-2004, 12:53 PM I wanna calibrate my powerbook but is their another way than the method via the system preferences? I mean isn't there a picture with absolute colors zo I can compare my LCD screen? Or another way? WendyW 04-29-2004, 12:01 PM If you want guides then you do need Richard's tools. Calibrating your powerbook .. most people use the Apple calibrator but I had trouble getting a good profile for my iBook. I found this utility: http://www.bergdesign.com/supercal/ I have had great results with it. Wendy PE2rein 05-01-2004, 03:41 AM Hi Wendy, what is Richard's tool (to get guides in Photoshop Elements) and where can I find it? greetings, Rein WendyW 05-01-2004, 06:34 AM Rein, Several people do various add ons for PSE one person is Paul Shipley at http://member.melbpc.org.au/~pshipley/Download.htm Another is Richard Lynch at http://www.hiddenelements.com./ Richard has two sets of tools one is free and the other comes with his book ... I think that guides is part of the set that comes with the book. On this forum there is a section for Richard at http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=142 Wendy |
