I have been working on this picture for a relative but I am having a few problems with the wall. I was wondering if anyone could give me a few pointers on what I could do please :confused: .
I was tempted to try add colour to it aswell though I don't want to try to run before I can walk :)
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not very good at explaining how to do things but I found these VCT tutorials that explains with video how you can work on the wall with adjustment layers. Hi Neutrino, had a quick go with your pic. There really is no detail in the blown out areas, so I cut and pasted from the good areas, then a little cloning and finally evened out tone a little by creating a new layer 50% grey set to soft light, then used burn tool with soft brush in areas to darken. The final image is a bit crude, but it may indicate to you a way to go.
