After looking at several websites of members I notice that they have their art signed, digitally, I presume. I wonder how they are doing this-- with a Wacom pen? Any tricks to know about? I'm sorry, I'm a newbie.

Hello again...

Not to worry. All of us were newbies once upon a time.

A tablet is one way to sign pics. If you have a scanner, take a "Sharpie" type pen and sign a white piece of paper. Your sig. can be scanned in and saved as a separate image.

From this image you have a number of options:
* Copy/paste it into other documents. You'll need to set the layer blend mode to "Darken," which zaps the white so the sig can be seen on top of your pic
* Create a custom brush from it. Depending on your needs, you may need to create brushes of different sizes to accomodate various pic sizes.
* Create a custom shape from it. A custom shape can be scaled. One size fits all. For a good tutorial on this process, see www.Trimoon.com.

Hope this gets you moving.
