I had scanned in a few old photos to repair. When finished the repaired, I printed it. The first print came out wonderful. I then was following a tutorial on calibrating the monitor and printer. Of course... during the calibration I loaded the supposedly "proper" color management file. Things looked good on the monitor... but.. when I printed a second copy of the repaired photo, it printed with a hazey film over it.

What did I do wrong? Or.. how can I return my PS back to what it was originally.... or.. how can I calibrate my mobitor and printer correctly. I am frustrated here.

My monitor is a Viewsonic A90f
My printer is an Epson Stylus Color 740
My scanner is an Epson Perfection 3200 Photo

TIA for any help.

In the advanced setup for the printer there are choices for printer management. "ICC" means the printer is running via a profile. It sounds like turning that off will get you back to where you started.
