I am not sure if this is the right place to post this but i couldn't find anywhere else to put it.
My question is i downloaded a photo "nonno1" and now i am unable to find where it is. I worked on the photo and now want to upload it.
Thanks,
Wayne

Do you know what format it is in (jpg, tiff, etc). If so when you do your search, try *.jpg, or *.tiff, etc. This will bring up all files of that sort on your PC. Also ensure that you have asked for the search to look in all folders, including system folders. Also are you sure that you downloaded it to a folder, or just to your temp folder, if the latter, check that you have not got your Internet Explorer set to delete temp folder when you finish browsing, this is in Tools-Internet Options-Advanced.

To expand a bit on what Gary suggested and ass-u-me-ing you're using Windows (if Mac, the concept is the same),

Start > Search > Files or Folders

File name: *.XXX
where XXX is the format of the file, e.g., jpg, , .psd, etc. If you don't remember use *.*

Look in:
C:\ will cast a pretty wide net.

Search Options:
Date.

Among the options are to search on creation date or modification date. One of these will probably do the trick. Narrow the search duration to the last 1 day.

Happy file hunting.

If it's in Photoshop you may be able to access it from the recent files list - then save it again to a directory where you will be able to find it.

Nice job Wayne. Next time try to post unambiguous questions, it will save people a lot of time, and ensure you get appropriate answers.
