From the spec. list at the Hidden Power Tool website it seems that true curve tools will be addes to Photoshop Elements 2.0 with HPPE - is that correct?

I'm looking for a way to make Photoshop Elements work with 16 bit images ... is that possible with HPPE ... if not, are there other ways to do that?

Curves are definitely added, as are some 39 or so other tools. There is a complete list in the tool tour on the website:

As far as 16-bit...you can't do that in version 1 or 2 that i have found, and really that is fair because PE1 was based on PS6 and PE2 on PS7, which had some support of 16-bit, but not a lot. all you can do currently in PE2 is open your 16-bit images--as 8 bit. With PS8 (CS) out, who knows what will happen for Elements users!
