Richard, as a suggestion for a new tool, Shay Stevens on his web site offers a $10 action that is supposed to be very effective in curing the Purple blight, and is dead simple to use...a perfect combination. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with PE2. I took the liberty of sending him a e-mail suggesting that he contact you.
