Can you help me get an opinion on that one?

In basic terms, I needed a very quick solution to add a picture to my website as an intro and did this one yesterday night. So this is what came out and I consider it to look pretty good but can't figure out if her eyes do look some kind of staring or not.

What are your thoughts?

Patrick

Looks great to me. Maybe soften the catch lights a little?

I think that's what cats do..they stare.

Hi :pleased:

In my opinion, the eyes aren't quite exactly staring. Seems to me like the left eye is but not the right eye.

I think if you move up the white spot a bit in the cat's right eye, you would get the full staring effect. If not moving up, try and move it around... I think it has to do with that spot though.

Nice drawing btw, love kitties. I think I have pics of my 2 cats more then anything/anyone else

Actually it's no kitten, she was almost one year old but never really grew up *s*

Hey, why not have a kittie pic battle in here, could flood you with a ton!

What I just wanted to add, it ain't a drawing, it's a usual pic i USM sharpened, shrinked to 50% and re-worked the eyes, that's all ;)

That's the way it looked to me. It almost looks as though the left eye is looking slightly to the left.

Hi Patrick, I thought your picture was fine. But if you wish to reduce the stare, try desaturating the eye colour a little.
