I have another request that is probably more in line with RetouchPRO.
In a situation where I should have brought my camera I only had a mobile phone with a built in camera (SonyEricsson P800 – without flash, 640x480)
The resulting pictures were nice in a special way but with a heavy color cast and a lot of noise. (The woman is my son’s fiancé and the baby is my first grandchild).
What do you suggest that I could do to get rid of the color cast and the noise?
I have tried the usual level, curves, color balance without too much success.

Hi Fotodoktorn,
...I used a Hue&Saturation Adjustment Layer where I 'tweaked' with and decreased saturation for Reds and Yellows.
Used Neat Image (you can download the free demo here (http://www.neatimage.com/download.html (neat Image))) for minimizing the noise.
Hope this helps.

Thank you Flora,
that is definitely a lot better than my attempts.
Is Neat Image considered to be the best filter for noise reduction?

Sorry ... I was so concentrated on the picture (very intense and sweet...) I didn't read your first post completely ...
Congratulations for you grandchild!!!! :pleased:
Is Neat Image considered to be the best filter for noise reduction?... For me it is... but I'm sure that if you ask around here, you'll get many different opinions (just as enthusiastic as mine) about many different de-noising software ....
I remember 'bumping' into a site where they actually tried, made comparison and rated several of them .... but, I really can't remember where anymore ...

Thank you again Flora,
Regarding filters I found a site comparing 18 products:

From the conclusion page:
