Hi guys,
Was wondering if the pros in here use 16bit throughout their workflow?
Using 16bits really makes the file sizes huge. Not sure if the improvements are worthwhile.
Pls comment.thk you.

IMHO, 16 bits is very worth it, at least until you get the basic tweaking finished. Photoshop isn't set up to use 16-bit at every setting you might want to enjoy after these first steps. This is when I change the mode to 8 bit and play around some more. The colors are richer, and I believe more true, when 16-bit is employed first. I have less trouble with out of gamut warnings when I use the 16-bit format as well.
Just my 2-cents worth,
Janet
