Thanks, Sandra Ed_L 10-11-2004, 08:06 PM Check out the individual channels. The blue channel is the best, with green being second. I don't have time to do anything with it, but I think that's where you start. Ed Noelf 10-12-2004, 12:15 AM I love a good faded photo! They normally actually have a lot of picture information still in them, and you can look like a serious magician restoring them :) Anyways, the blue channel had a good shot in it, did about 30 seconds of playing with it and was able to get to this. With a stronger scan than you can post, you can do a lot with this pic. - Noel PixiePirate 10-12-2004, 12:20 AM I ran a levels adjustment on the blue channel and the selectivly burned in some detail. I would do alot more if it wasn't 2AM! At least now you can see that this image is not totally hopeless. Cheers! roger_ele 10-12-2004, 12:24 AM Here is a very quick idea of what you have to work with from the blue channel Roger SWolfe 10-12-2004, 06:20 AM Thanks everybody for the comments. I'll give the blue channel a go and see what I can find in there. Best, Sandra :) |
