Added a sunbeam on a separate layer, added Mezzotint strokes with a Motion blur to break up the "sunlight" into rays. Used a combo of Graphic Pen, Rough Pastels, Watercolor, and Poster Edges on the guitar.

This is a simple collage, cutting, pasting, playing with blending modes, contrast & opacity. The silhouette image is from another Retouch Pro challenge. Hope it's ok to combine; they just seemed to go together.

Creativity and "coloring outside the lines" of this nature are always welcome and encouraged.

In short: "Go for it!"

Here's one starting with a Painter8 SplatteryCloneSpray. Put this in Elements 2 as the bottom image.

A: Painter8 image
B: copyA. Artistic>Sponge (50% opacity)
C: copyA. Stylize>GlowingEdges (colordodge)
D: copyA. Sketch>GraphicPen (Multiply, 55%)

The graphic pen strokes didn't survive the 100k JPG treatment, so I'm including a cropped detailed image too.
