Thanks for the link :) It looks interesting to say the least, I have yet to dive in and use it, but I am excited at the prospect. Will let you know if I get anything decent out of it, the examples on the website look great (what a surprsise;)).

Just groping my way through this new software... so do excuse the rather vague details. I'm surprised i'm even able to explain this!
Blurred original, and created swap file with this. Blended these 2 images with "tracing paper" blend a few times for the original image to show through. Using a small airbrush and dodge effect, highlighted the hair. Put back details of face with clone effect.

I've always enjoyed doing HK portraits so it's good to get some practice in....

Power Retouche BW Filter
Levels and Curves
Erased bg and filled with white
Erased edges with diff. opacities
Burned hair, mouth, eyes
